Day 3: Party Like A Rock...Party Like A Rock Star!

It's the weekend and today's look is totally killer! Be ready for anything the night can bring in this rock star look. Jeans and a t-shirt have always been a rock star staple, but I kick it up a notch with metallic and metal. Today, being a rock star is easy, I paired a skinny jean with a black v-neck t-shirt with purple metallic details (actually a tiger face if you look close up) and rocked the look out with metallic heels that are sky-high! Don't be afraid to reach new levels of rock-star-ness by wearing your most outrageously high, high-heels. This will just add to your greatness and maybe even score you a backstage pass!

For accessories, go all out! Here I am wearing 5 random bangles that I pulled out of my drawer, and a metal ring. Mix and match because anything goes with a basic t-shirt and jeans combo. On chilly nights, wear a little leather jacket, don't worry if you're mixing neutrals (example, brown and black like I did) because that totally works!

Now, to totally look the part, you really have to get that rock star makeup look. Smokey eyes are a MUST and it is super easy to do. My makeup is all from the Sigma Makeup Smokey Eyes Kit (http://sigmamakeup.com/products/7022.html). This kit gives you all the colors you need to get this look and there is even a tutorial on the site to help you smoke out your eyes! Since I wanted to focus the attention on my dark, Smokey eye, I kept the rest of my face fairly neutral, just a little bronzer and highlighter and a neutral lip gloss.

I love wearing a poof with long, straight hair. I think this style is very versatile and it definitely shows off the eyes. Everybody is different when it comes to their poof, but don't be afraid to pump up the volume! Think '80's band big!

Well that is my Friday rock star look! All the details of the outfit are below and the tools to re-create this makeup look are all available at: www.sigmamakeup.com! Have an AWESOME weekend!

Day 2: Military...Meet the Runway!

Today's look is mix of military and mod. The bright blue military jacket is reminiscent of 1967 Beatles Sgt. Pepper, which is what my dad told me when I wore this jacket once. I love this look because it is so easy and comfortable, but it is still classy. The gold details of the jacket dress it up and the bracelet sleeve really differentiates this jacket from many others I have seen. What is also nice about this look is that it doesn't even matter what you are wearing underneath. The look is completed by adding dark blue "jeggings" (faux jean leggings) and grey suede booties.

My makeup look is very simple and something that can be worn day or night. On my eyes I used Brown-Eyed Girl from the Sigma Makeup Neutral Palette. I applied it over the lid and blended in the crease area to help avoid any harsh lines. I have applied a highlighter under the brow and completed the eyes with black eyeliner and mascara. I applied brown mascara to my bottom lashes as well. I finished this look by applying a highlighter to my check bones and a pink lip gloss.

I liked the idea of a braid with this look, because they are stylish, easy and cute for Spring. The braid is very loose and textured to accent the colors throughout my hair. Don't be afraid to add a headband for those windy days!

Fashion Week!

Tara's Mini Fashion Week!

LIGHTS....CAMERA.....FASHION!

For the next 7 days I will be working the runway with 7 different looks. This will just be a variety of styles including makeup and hair that are fun, easy and cute. I hope you enjoy the looks I have created!

Day 1: Urban Safari

Today my look is based around an urban safari theme. I wear denim almost every day, which you will notice, and I love how versatile it can be. Today I combined a classic safari jacket with cinched waistline, a flowy top with flower details, denim and two toned heels to dress up the look.

My makeup is very simple, yet classic. I used the look described in my post yesterday. Angie shadow with a thick liner and bold lashes. I topped off the look with a bright red lip!

My hair is simple loose curls with one side pulled back. I kept the accessories limited with this outfit, a bold navy blue watch and my every day earrings. No girl on a safari wants to wear too many accessories that might scare away the animals!

This is an everyday easy look to create and works well for any casual occasion. I have placed the details of my outfit below if you are interested!

Product of the Day....ANGIE!

Hey everyone! So I thought how better to start my blog than by doing a product of the day!? So here it is.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! Seriously, I use it daily. It is so versatile, it is so beautiful, it is so Angie!

Angie is a shade from the Sigma Makeup Neutral Palette. I use this product on top of a primer, and it lasts all day long. Most days I just top it off with a nice black eyeliner and mascara. It creates a very natural yet fresh look.

Anther great way to wear Angie is with a thick, black eyeliner, big bold lashes and a red lip. Very Marilyn Monroe and very sexy.

Angie is definitely my favorite shade of eye shadow and I honestly would recommend this color for anyone!
